Oh quit hounding him.
He’s a Northwestern Zen Fox.
To be precise, he’s a North American grey zen fox, a species that was apparently invented for the strip.
But since Avery is a raccoon, “Oh the mammalianity.”
Wait, dragon father, so “Oh the sentience.”
I believe dragons are categorised as reptiles in this world, so “Oh the animality.”
After all, we haven’t seen any sentient plants that I recall.
Sentience is sensing. Maybe you mean sapience?
