    Either she was wearing perfume, or the flowers had an odor or were dusty, or it was a “they deserved it so he had an accident” thing. Knowing some of the stuff that they’ve tried to jam down the throats of the parents who can think, I’m guessing the “accident”

      To be fair to Ms. Sorkowitz, she does at least seem to recognise the idiocy of many of those impositions and sympathise with the pupils suffering from them. She’s just been in the job long enough to also recognise the futility of trying to fight it.
