This perfectly represents my feelings every time I share something I’ve found even with the closest of my friends. It’s even worse when they don’t find the same appreciation that you have, or even go as far as to actively dislike it in front of you. I don’t share the music I like with anyone anymore.
The music I like is Golden Oldies. If you like it, fine. If you dislike it, that’s fine too. Different strokes for different folks.
It’s not like we can choose what we like and what we don’t when it comes to music. Or taste for that matter, so if someone genuinely does not like something, then they just don’t like it and there’s nothing you can do about it other than accept things for what they are.
