This tradition seems more like it would belong in the dragon equivalent of easter.
I grew up with the tradition of my mom hiding a pickle (ornament, not a real one) inside the Christmas tree, the first kid to find it had good luck (I hide the pickle for my daughter now), so a painted banana isn’t that out of place. 🙂
My family did the same, I remember one year my mother forgot where the pickle was and I found it on the tree while preparing for a bonfire in mid August
So the strip wasn’t lost! Good!
uhhh… whats the difference between banana dye and a normal one??
Normal dye beads up on banana skin, which has a wax-like outer coat; banana dye doesn’t, so it can be brushed into patterns — and stays there.
