Quite suprising – if Locke can run a ship, surely he can run a pitiful house?
Ah, but a house can’t sail you to a doughnut shop to pillage it!
Llewellen should have just said “Greater Llewellenlland is now yours, here is the stack of bills that go with it”. Problem solved.
Llewellenlland has bills?
I would guess electric and plumbing, but not a mortgage payment. He likely owns it even if his family hasn’t owned it for generations, but he can’t have free municipal water or electric given that he is not considered a US resident.
Solar panels, a well and a septic tank? Food, on the other hand —
Loving the happy face on his hat. Great little detail.
I wonder what kind of jam Locke is eating.
This is a comic strip, so I’d say it’s paper jam.
Garden.
This was supposed to be a reply on Adelaide. Stupid website!
‘S OK, I saw it anyway. They’d need a very large garden (and cover and heat to run it 12 months a year); and besides which we know that Llewellyn does grocery shopping!
