YES! That is a great homework assignment!
Then again its rather like literary criticism homework. You figure out what the author is saying with a story and then you deconstruct it and show they weren’t actually saying that.
They say the venn diagram describing the overlap between what’s on the page, and what your teacher/you think(s) the text means, has a null set for an intersect…
And where the intersect should be is what the author actually meant.
I once read a scifi story where a time traveler takes Shakespeare to today and enrolls him in a Shakespearean class at the University.
The Immortal Bard gets an F.
Does that mean that someone else wrote all his works *after all*???
I once read a comic where a mermaid got a bad grade in Marine Biology because, humans were the ones who were wrong.
Dear Past Self: You really should have put that as a reply to Mazanecs comment. Also the comma after because is not only entirely unnecessary, it actually makes the sentence harder to read.
Also the part of the comment field that says Website URL is not asking for the URL of the website your commenting on.
Sincerely, Your Future Self.
Stereotypical students unlearn all the time.
I sort of get the idea here. Our understanding must be flexible and willing to expand. Science, for example, is never truly settled on most things
