I’m not so sure about that. I’ve seen a number of similar chairs in the stores around my home(which, incidentally, isn’t far from where this comic is set), so I imagine it wouldn’t be difficult for Llewellyn to have bought that off the shelf in the midst of his secession preparations, if he didn’t have it already.
