  1. Ohhh Kazaa… Until you realized that it was much more useful for downloading porn than it was for music.

    • Most people I know who rage against capitalism don’t actually want to eliminate it, just temper it with some government intervention. Unfettered capitalism doesn’t work any better than pure socialism; they work best together.

  2. Weird Al Yankovic wrote a song protesting this, titled “Don’t Download This Song.” Then he didn’t put it on any C.D.s, so the only way to get it is to download it.

  3. Not quite the same problem, but I have had issues with uploading recorded music that is over a century old. It seems that some folks want to eliminate such pesky nuisances as “Fair Use” and “Public Domain” altogether. If they have even the faintest whiff of a penny to be squeezed out of something not already nailed down, they are on it like vultures to a carcass. 7X=Q
