Wouldn’t the first question to ask be “How would they know?”? @_@
They ask the fish, of course!
;-P
Their pet fish kept forgetting their birthdays, this is how they figured it out.
You think fish don’t have memories?
You obviously haven’t fished the same lakes I have.
My first time fishing I accidentally put the line on backwards and lost the hook, it was one of those hooks that has a fancy name like the 5 of diamonds or something like that(I don’t go fishing very often so I can’t remember anymore), so anyway there was another one exactly like it which I used after making sure the line was on correctly, and I caught the exact same fish and resultingly was able to retrieve the first hook. So yeah, I’d say fish at the very least don’t have great memories.
Huh? The first hook it ate didn’t hurt it, did it? Why not try eating another one?
I think you meant “lure” not “hook”. The hook is the metal that impales its flesh, the lure is what induced it to try it.
Who’s “they” anyway? The fish?
Not this again…
is there a joke here, i dont get it
The goldfish have no memory was made up to justify keeping them in tiny bowls, and make such owners feel better
It has been speculated that there are only two emotions that they’re capable of, fear and hunger.
Goldfish have been shown to remember for five months.
Interesting, most gold fish dont live long enough due to some children
