So dragons gain thier power from the sun…and produce oxygen. Yup makes perfect sense
How else could they breathe fire, huh?
One of the best things Dana ever did with this strip was the decision to make Isolde a recurring character.
Humans do a form of photosynthesis. Sunlight causes our skin to produce vitamin D. Of course Millie is a fox, and with all that fur in the way…
see, if this were anime, she’d wind up falling in love with him anyway. i watch too much anime
So why are dragons red instead of green?
Dragons come in many colors. Isolde is green for now, but will eventually turn silver.
Is Isolde blonde or a brunette? I can’t remember. I’ve always imagined her sort of a yellow-green, with blonde hair, up until she turns silver of course.
You know that a comic strip is wonderful when it has a tag for “historical nose poetry”.
