  1. I’m not at all surprised by the last panel, I mean, Superman also fought the KKK in the 1950s.

  2. I’ve never understood the Human act of Dehumanizing members of their own species. Do they feel better about their place in the standing social order by Victimizing others, or do Humans instinctively Fear the Strange & Different? I’ve always found the Human Animal a Backward yet Interesting Creature for these very Questions.

    • It’s one part an attempt to assimilate with a specific group, and one part the fear that not doing so will cause that group to dehumanize you.

It’s a problem of the fact that humans are social animals within an environment that has set bounds and few to no survivable means of escape (in our case, the world, the country, a state, a county, a city…)

    • Then there’s the possibility of psycopathy or sociopathy, an individual who jenuenly believes they’re above others and serve to propagate the mentality. Some people with these types of mental issues are seen as confident or charismatic, making them more likely to hold some kind of leadership position (like monarchs legitimizing their position because god ordained that their family rule a certain land) allowing them to enforce their thoughts as law, wich would stay until society as a whole realizes it’s a stupid practice.

But that’s a much more macro scale cause

  3. I believe it is in our genetic code to fight. Therefore I entirely doubt that humanity will ever unite- at least until the aliens attack.

  4. Humanity is too blinded by its own conflict with itself to realize that the senseless fighting only hastens the end of our shared world.

  5. Whatever species the Klansman on the left is under that burglur mask, I can tell by his hands that he’s black.
