    Or, that’s the way things would work, ideally.

    Perhaps it would be wise to consider that accomplishment is built upon previous accomplishment. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet and Theodore Roosevelt also grew up in comfortable circumstances and yet still went on to accomplish much. ^_^

    Or-r-r-r, you could always say that the adversity you overcame was that there was no adversity to overcome! ^_~

  3. Wasn’t the Buddha some sort of wealthy prince who ran away from home because he was bored with his cushy life or something?

    • He departed because on his first time outside of the lavish palace, he saw 3 men, one ill, one dead, and a third one which escaped me at this time. Either way, they opened his eyes to hardship and he went on a lifelong journey to discover the true way of life and enlightenment.
