The funniest thing about these two strips is that they were done 3 years before 911 and the War on Terrorism. How prophetic. Ozy & Millie was truly ahead of it’s time!
Given the fact that the very premise of this comic is absurd, the fact that you see two children talking about politics (not unlike calvin and hobbes) does not really take away from the comic.

Seeing that the country in question has been in nearly constant state of warfare since the end of the second world war, I don’t really think so.
Anyway, the attack on Iraq was already planned. 9/11 was just a happy coincidence.
ahh but it’s still recent that countries only being able to use so many weapons where as in the past they had as much as they could muster up.
???
Have you ever heard of the Treaty of Versailles?
I just like reading the comi for the joke. You people just rip it apart.
Happy being a relative term, I hope…
You only need one surgical strike, Ozy.
Ah, the appropriate level of real-life political satire in a comic about two talking animal children.

Don’t worry, Ozy…that kind of thing is always temporary. In 2115 someone else (China?) will be the one with the hose.
In 1979, China invaded Vietnam, and that lasted for one month. It was meant to be a punitive act rather than a full-scale conquest though.
And yet if the last few wars tell us anything, Ozy probably wins.
On behaf of all other countrys, ouch!
