Sounds more like Under Pressure to me 😛
Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines myself. How can anyone tell?
Well, seeing as he was humming the bit “Ice Ice Baby” sampled from “Under Pressure”…
Not that Avery would recognize Queen *or* David Bowie if his life depended on it.
My name is Ozymandias, king of kings. Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair.
Song’s a little late in time for my taste.
Avery’s question is my question. However, I must add, “What does that ‘song’ have to do with anything?” (Sorry, never was too much into pop culture, especially now in 2015.)
Vanilla Ice was a one-hit wonder with Ice Ice Baby. He washed out after his “fifteen minutes of fame” rather quick… Now he’s been relegated to a second-rate home improvement show on the DIY Network, channel one-twenty-something on Dish. Vanilla Ice really fits the title of “Avery at 23”. This is NOT a compliment. Think yourself lucky for having never heard of him…Ugh.
Well, he also did the TMNT live action movie theme song…
And now I’m going to have that song stuck in my head all morning.
Ninja… Ninja… Rap!
Ninja… Ninja… Rap!
Go! Go! Go! Go!
There is, from the same era, MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This”, and THAT song was a rip-off of “Superfreak” by the late Rick James! And MC Hammer’s career went down the same path as Vanilla Ice’s.
Thank god for karma, right?
