Ludd would be better than Mudd
I don’t know, personally I think having the name of a Star Trek villain would be better than that of the guy who inspired the Luddites.
There’s a Lobsang Ludd in Pratchett’s book, Thief of Time.
just hyphenate it Millie Mudd-Llewellyn.
Or would it be Millie Llewellyn-Mudd?
Did I spell that right? I’m all the way down here in the comments so I can’t tell.
Lots of married couples, especially celebrities, do not change their last names when they marry. Nothing unusual about that.
Anyone remember the late news reporter Roger Mudd?
I used to have an optometrist who apparently went through several husbands, and kept changing her name. I really wished she’d stuck to her maiden name for professional purposes. It would have been less confusing. “Hi, yeah, I have an appointment with Dr. Whatshername…”
