Well it’s about time!:)
Goodness! I’ve seen proposals like that before, but they are certainly rare… still worthy of being celebrated 🙂
Can Millie and Ozy get married when they grow up after this?
Sure. They’ll only be step-siblings, not blood relatives.
That makes sense. I think.
Stop. Just stop. NO MOZY SHIPPING! Can’t people just accept the beauty of friendship, without speculating its turning into something more? HAVE YOU NO SHAME?
I agree. Why must every friendship be turned into some sort of “ship?”
Well, friendshipping is a thing, where fans think two characters should become friends, or at least spend more time together, in a non-romantic context. And then there’s toy shipping, where fans think two characters are cute together, but acknowledge that they’re too young for a romantic relationship.
Yay finally! This has cheered me up a great deal 😀
I can’t speak from a legal standpoint, but genetically, there’s no reason why not, seeing there’s no blood relationship between the two. families.
Come to think of it, I don’t think being blood relatives would stop a couple either. Reproduction wise that is. Socially it’s still weird.
Incestuous marriage is illegal in all US states, although the definition varies a bit from state to state. In every state except Rhode Island and New Jersey, incestuous sex is a criminal offense, even if both parties are consenting adults. Prosecutions of consenting adults are very rare, if only because the participants tend to keep their activities very private due fear of both the law and social stigma. (I would worry about what that research would look like on my search history, but then I look up all kinds of strange and random stuff.)
Llewellyn proposed by letting Miss Mudd Propose. A zen marriage in the making.
Must have been Sadie Hawkins Day.
Haven’t heard of Sadie Hawkins Day in a LONNNGG time! 🙂
I have a copy of one of those strips posted in my office!
I was hoping he would propose but this is very nice
