I wish I could see stars like that- can’t see any tonight, due to the clouds, and I can see about four when it’s clear. Suburban air is filthy, and the streetlights don’t help.
In unrelated news, the day before yesterday the students at my school managed to break three bathroom fixtures- the toilet, the sink, and the paper towel dispenser.
Just wait until the smog gets thick enough to ignite. Then you’ll have some /very/ nice night skies. Nothing like burning smog, the aurora of air garbage.
The most religious experience I ever had was on a rowboat in a lake.
At night.
In the middle of Canada.
I could see the Milky Way from horizon to horizon.
