Forward or back, the hands touched the current time as she went by. Ratimir is correct, at that time it was correct. If she’d moved it to just short of the current time, and it was a PM time so wouldn’t be repeated, she’d have avoided that moment. Reply

That clock has no way to tell the diference between AM and PM.
