  1. One of the problems with using this kind of joke in a medium of a static nature, (webcomics for example) is that people see images before their brains get around to reading. So there are probably people who saw Ozy’s costume before they actually read any of the words.

    • I had to learn to not glance the last panel, it was a real challenge when I was a child. Thanks for reminding me, it hasn’t been a problem in a long time and I had forgotten.

      • That’s a hard thing to master, when you’re also trying to read the strip of the day’s title before reading the story and watching the images.

      • I don’t glance but I don’t remember having to learn not to — but I’ve been addicted to comics since I was a young child and that was a *long* time ago! (I don’t read the title.)
