    • Dust/Dirt would would stand out just as much on black (it would be lighter) as it would on white (it would be darker). If her paws were brown, then you wouldn’t be able to tell they were dirty or dusty.

    • That might work once, if her mother was feeling charitable, but the more likely outcome would be Millie being told to go back and wash the rest of her paws.
