I know a guy whose entire artistic career has been virtually nothing but making “sculptures” out of scrap eating utensils and busted tools.
The man is an artistic genius but no one buys his stuff because no one seems to want that kind of rubbish in their houses or art galleries.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It can be a bit odd if the beholder is an art critic.

Toothpicks are notoriously weak and flimsy.
The Space Needle is a large tourist attraction that gets thousands of visitors each day.
When you combine the two you get a mass calamity.
