If Ms. Mudd needs a nursing home, Millie might be able to force her into a cut-rate one, depending what the laws are like at that time.
Millie still picks which nursing home. Just because Millie could afford to send her somewhere other than a cut-price place doesn’t mean she can’t send her to a cut-price place.
When I had to choose a nursing home for my own Mother, there wasn’t much choice, so I chose the one she herself had chosen for her own Mother — who was still there. I don’t think either of them ever became aware of the presence of the other — they were both in pretty bad shape.
