      • Google has no idea, but I would deduce that it is a colloquial expression for becoming romantically attached, given that I think that this is the first point at which they both hold hands and one has their hand on the other’s opposite shoulder. (panels 2 and three. I think that they may have grabbed hands before, but non-amorously.)
