Why would it matter if her sock gets wet? She never wears them anyway.
She wears them. Just not on her feet. I believe we’ve seen nose, ears and hands.

The phrase “destroying the town to save it” was supposedly made by an Army major in Vietnam. But this may be an urban legend, just as William Randolph Hearst never said, “You supply the photos, I’ll supply the war.” according to a PBS special about him.
