Notes: White out where panel borders were removed, pasted-in correction in the first panel. Penciled in the top margin: “Let all the poisons that lurk in the mud hatch out.”
O-kay, that penciled-in note really makes me wonder what goes on in Ms. Simpson’s head as she creates her work.
One of the nice things about this strip is that if there was a knob that controlled the maturity of the content, you could tape a Popsicle stick to it and give it a light tap in the right direction to make it suitable for children. The political commentary might seem out of place then but it’s out of place now.
I don’t drink 7-UP, I drink diet cola.
Of course, I’m not gay, so that is besides the point.
“Let all the poisons that lurk in the mud hatch out.” — Robert Graves, /I, Claudius/. So all the self-righteous, corrupt acts of politicians and their enablers should be exposed. I’m cynical enough to question if the voters would care.
I’m Bi, do I get a dedicated drink? xD
No, you only get to drink when you’re feeling gay-er…
Or a 50% discount?
I only just now realized that “Llewellynlland” has two l’s in “lland”.
I should visit Llewllynlland, if only to get free 7-Up.
