Oshkosh and Dickies are permissible; unlike Levis, they still design and make their clothing to withstand the rigors of work, and with only the barest nod towards fashion.
It might just be the space between the straps on the back. I had overalls like that as a child, where the back part really was just the straps until you got down to the shorts level.

The other times it was visible, I thought it was just part of the tail hole, but there’s too much space between them here so… alright.
