One child, anyway. A little girl named Katy, in Massachussetts. She wrote a letter to her local paper, the Daily Hampshire Gazette, asking them to please pick up ‘Phoebe and Her Unicorn.’ Not only did they, but they let her ask me some interview questions. And she really nailed it. Read about it here!   […]

Did you catch the reveal of Max’s parents in this week’s strips? I’ve actually known all along that Max has lesbian parents. I’ve been waiting for years for it to come up organically. And unlike most people, he can keep the water warm all day with having to drain and replace it every hour when it gets cold, or burn through excess electricity to keep the temperature stable.

Must be nice, being your own personal hot tub. 🙂

Is there a limit to dragon fire, like it uses hydrogen that makes them lighter for flight or something like that?

It varies, but not as such. usually, when an author actually mentions the hows of dragonfire, either the dragon swallows something to fuel the dragonfire- in which case they are limited by how much they can swallow- or the dragon naturally produces a chemical which is burned to produce dragonfire. Since dragon saliva is toxic in Ozy and Millie, i’m guessing they produce the chemical themselves. As such, any one blast s probably limited, but they can’t run out.
