  • I won something! July 8, 2018
It had been a little while since I actually won an award, though I’ve been nominated a few times. This time, kids did the voting! • I am interviewed by children December 1, 2017
One child, anyway. A little girl named Katy, in Massachussetts. She wrote a letter to her local paper, the Daily Hampshire Gazette, asking them to please pick up ‘Phoebe and Her Unicorn.’ Not only did they, but they let her ask me some interview questions. And she really nailed it. Read about it here!   […]

  • The gay unicorn agenda July 26, 2017
Did you catch the reveal of Max’s parents in this week’s strips? I’ve actually known all along that Max has lesbian parents. I’ve been waiting for years for it to come up organically. And it actually did in the forthcoming Phoebe and Her Unicorn In: The Magic Storm, which is due out in October. So […]

  • School Library Journal June 28, 2017
SLJ’s Brigid Alverson interviewed me for a great article about LGBTQ representation in comics. I’m quoted in the article, but I said a lot more, and apparently it was interesting enough that she also published the whole interview. Read more →

I discovered I needed to strengthen my body as well as my mind. After a few years I looked rather good but didn’t attract one girl. Sigh.

I’ve had days like this, minus the posters. I have yet to properly decorate my room.

Einstein, Spock and many dragon posters. That seems to be a lot like my room…. except that I don’t spend 16 hours in front of my computer… Um.. at least not every day…

Why are there posters of Humans in his room? Are all the characters of “Ozy & Millie” Mutated Hominids who have been placed in a Ghetto comprising Seattle & surrounding areas by order of the Unmutated Human Majority? Dammit Democracy, I wouldn’t have to Hate you if you didn’t let stuff like “Separate but Equal” slip by!

Actually that could be a good story background too. My favorite Transformation stories were “The Blind Pig” stories

In Kevin and Kell humans are seen as a fictional species. Theres more to it than that, but saying any more would be a spoiler.
