One day in September 2010, I was surfing around on TV Tropes. I found a mention of this strip on one of the trope pages, then I decided to take a look at this comic’s page. I eventually started reading.

I’m the kind of person who tends to be engrossed with something for about half an hour and then never return to it again. Not with Ozy and Millie. Oh, no, no, no—I had come across an addiction! I came back the day after that, and the day after that. In a month’s time, I had read everything and started buying the merchandise. To this day, I wear an O&M shirt more often than not.

After already having read through the thing at least three times (some strips I’ve read a lot more often than that), I’m starting the plow-through again. You have kept me hooked, D.C., and for that I cannot thank you enough.

    I cannot

Kinda funny looking back on this now. I remember going into kindergarten back about 1998 or 1999 and seeing this. Kinda nostalgic now that I graduated a couple days ago.

When i first delved into the internet for serious in 2003, i stumbled upon O&M simply by chance, looking for good webcomics.
Somehow, i never finished reading through the archives.
I again stumbled upon O&M by chance. This wink of destiny will not be in vain this time.

Several years ago I was innocently reading reading my favorite comic about destructive intelligent kids(Precocious) when I saw the author mention that they got a lot of inspiration to draw from this funny and interesting comic called Ozy and Millie. I was reading it like that and I enjoyed every second of it. Now this is at least my fourth time reading it, that is how much I love this. It’s a shame it had to end, but it’s still so wonderful.

It is said the Japanese believed 9/9/99 to have some significance or other. By a strange coincidence, that is the exact date I happened upon Ozy and Millie. Hooked from that moment. Still hooked today. You done good, Dana Simpson. 🙂

In part that is the addition of color, but the artistic style is substantially better too.

I know you hate your old work, but this Ozy and Millie changed lives. I’ve yet to find a comic I found anywhere near as enjoyable. Thank you, and I wish you luck with future endeavors. I’ll keep hoping my favorite two foxes come back.

I don’t know how to feel about the fact that the comic started exactly a year after I was born. My birthday’s on April 29th. I feel more attached to it now.
