From the gocomics.com frontpage a few hours ago: In terms of popularity, at that moment in time, I was sandwiched between one of my cartooning idols, and a strip which, to quote Homer Simpson, is “about two naked eight year olds who are married.” […]
The official launch date for “Heavenly Nostrils” is tomorrow! But I have snuck in a day early, because I never do things by the rules. Also “snuck” is so a word. Go look! And then read it every day! […]
April 23rd is a bunch of things. It’s my birthday. Also Shakespeare’s, and Michael Moore’s.It’s Earth Day. And it’s the scheduled launch date of my comic strip, “Heavenly Nostrils.” The countdown is on! Have a taste of the spot art the syndicate asked me to give them. […]
One day in September 2010, I was surfing around on TV Tropes. I found a mention of this strip on one of the trope pages, then I decided to take a look at this comic’s page. I eventually started reading.
I’m the kind of person who tends to be engrossed with something for about half an hour and then never return to it again. Not with Ozy and Millie. Oh, no, no, no—I had come across an addiction! I came back the day after that, and the day after that. In a month’s time, I had read everything and started buying the merchandise. To this day, I wear an O&M shirt more often than not.
After already having read through the thing at least three times (some strips I’ve read a lot more often than that), I’m starting the plow-through again. You have kept me hooked, D.C., and for that I cannot thank you enough.
The new site looks great! Very impressed and excited there is action here again. Can’t wait to see new pages. Made my Christmas to come here and find this. Happy holidays!
Kinda funny looking back on this now. I remember going into kindergarten back about 1998 or 1999 and seeing this. Kinda nostalgic now that I graduated a couple days ago.
When i first delved into the internet for serious in 2003, i stumbled upon O&M simply by chance, looking for good webcomics.
Somehow, i never finished reading through the archives.
I again stumbled upon O&M by chance. This wink of destiny will not be in vain this time.
the first page that started it all. *sigh* good times.
Gotta start reading!
